    Runway and ramp are in great shape with new-ish ropes and good markings. Most hotels and realty companies will pick you up at the airport and will often drop you off when you leave, so all you need to do is rent bicycles or a golf cart for your stay.…

    Spent 3 nights on Ocracoke with a visit to FFA. Wonderful place! In mid-April all businesses were open, sunny weather in the 70s and no crowds. Saw 3 planes parked once, otherwise we mostly had the place to ourselves. The runway can is a tight fit, a…

    Went here Sunday July 20th, 2014. Fun airport to land at along the beach with a light crosswind. Howard's Pub still picks you up, but the other businesses seem to to have golf carts to get you as well, just nobody else monitors the VHF. Beautiful pla…
