For more than 65 years, the Southeastern Minnesota Flying Club has provided area pilots with access to safe, affordable aircraft. From local sightseeing trips to cross country adventures, our members enjoy the freedom to fly a variety of missions.
Our goal is to provide members with affordable access to safe and modern aircraft. But we view ourselves as more than an aircraft rental service. Rather, we also aim to be ambassadors of the broader aviation community, and we take pride in sharing our pursuit with others. Whether through participation in outreach programs such as EAA's Young Eagles, through sponsorship of educational seminars such as AOPA's Rusty Pilots, or through sharing our knowledge and experiences with fellow Club members at our monthly business and safety meetings, our goal is to be visible, active role models for general aviation.
Whether you are an active pilot, a pilot whose experience has lapsed, a pilot who wants to add a new rating, or an aviation enthusiast yearning to become a pilot, you are welcome to join our Club. As co-owners of our aircraft, Club members are allowed to take flight training in our airplanes. The Southeastern Minnesota Flying Club is not a flight school and does not provide flight instruction, but training is available at Rochester and nearby airports.
Join our group of pilot-owners in one of the longest operating and most affordable flying clubs in Minnesota. Visit us at www.semfc.org for more information and to arrange a personal tour of our facilities.
