Fairchild Aircraft 100th Anniversary Homecoming

Join the Hagerstown Aviation Museum for a historic three-day event celebrating aviation, innovation, and community! September 12: As Fairchild owners arrive for the event, take the opportunity to enjoy a day of watching vintage airplanes land at the Hagerstown Airport. The Hagerstown Aviation Museum is offering Fairchild Heritage Flights for a $200 donation. To wrap up your Friday night, join us for the 1940s Hangar Dance at the Hagerstown Aviation Museum, where you can enjoy Big Band music, dancing, food, and drinks. September 13: Saturday will feature the traditional Wings & Wheels Expo, highlighting the Hagerstown Aviation Museum’s extensive collection of vintage aircraft, as well as the historic Fairchild Flight Test Dome Hangar and various aviation exhibits. Additionally, there will be a Cruise-In showcasing antique and classic cars, trucks, antique tractors, motorcycles, tractor-trailers, cranes, law enforcement vehicles, SWAT vehicles, and more! Enjoy live music at 12 noon, food, and local vendors throughout the event! September 14: Be sure to join us for the full day on Sunday! Start your day with morning coffee, doughnuts, and aviation fellowship. Throughout the day, we will have a speaker series that includes a Ranger Engine Clinic, a Rosie Reception, and an A-10 Warthog Roundtable.
