Jeppesen joins Aviation Green AllianceJeppesen joins Aviation Green Alliance

Jeppesen has joined the Lindbergh Foundation’s Aviation Green Alliance as a founding member. The alliance looks for solutions to environmental concerns facing the aviation industry, and was established earlier this year.

The foundation honors the link made by aviation legend Charles Lindbergh between aviation and protecting the environment.

“The Aviation Green Alliance organization offers an opportunity for aviation-related companies and individuals to share best practices and establish innovative programs to help guide environmental stewardship in relation to aviation industry operations,” said Mark Van Tine, Jeppesen president and CEO.

The organization supplies environmental news and information and funds grants for the discovery and development of new technologies. Lindbergh Foundation Chairman and CEO Larry Williams said Jeppesen has made its environmental impact statement a part of the company’s core values and beliefs.
