Wagstaff to speak at AirVenture Teachers' Day

Aerobatic pilot Patty Wagstaff will speak at the 2013 Teacher’s Day event on July 30 at EAA AirVenture 2013 in Oshkosh, Wis.

The fifth annual Teachers’ Day is sponsored by Build A Plane. The free event provides teachers with ideas and insights about how to integrate aviation into a school curriculum.

Wagstaff is a three-time national aerobatic champion and International Aerospace Hall of Fame inductee, as well as a six-time member of the U.S. Aerobatic Team.

Teachers can register for the event online. Participants also will receive a free wristband for one day’s attendance at EAA AirVenture, plus free parking and lunch. The event will qualify for one graduate credit through Viterbo University.
