The new Falcon 2000LXS is currently in testing.
Dassault Aviation in France had flat news for the past, good news for the future, and less than enthusiastic comments for the American market. Dassault Falcon Jet deliveries were at the same level as 2011: 66 Falcon Jets and 11 Rafale fighters, compared to 63 Falcon Jets and 11 Rafale fighters in 2011. However, orders were up significantly: 58 Falcon Jets compared to 36 in 2011.
Dassault Aviation expects to deliver around 70 Falcon Jets and 11 Rafale fighters in 2013. Net sales in 2013 should be higher than 2012 net sales, the company statement said.
“Business jets market remains convalescent but we hope for a recovery, especially in the United States,” the company said in a statement. “Concerning business jets, the uncertain evolution of the world economy and in particular of our historical markets, United States and Western Europe, encourages us to remain vigilant.”
The company is testing a new Falcon 2000LXS that it plans to sell in the future.
