The 2016 Flight Training Poll opens for three months starting May 23 at 12 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. It’s your opportunity to sound off for the future of flight training by telling AOPA about your experience with a flight school or individual instructor. Participants also will be eligible to enter the Flight Training Poll Sweepstakes and win prizes generously donated by Jeppesen, Sporty’s Pilot Shop, Aircraft Spruce and Specialty Co., and PilotWorkshops.

AOPA wants to hear all about your flight training experience—the good, the bad, and the awesome. The poll measures the performance of flight training providers based on four factors that a study commissioned in 2010 found create an optimal flight training experience when combined: educational quality, customer focus, community, and information sharing.

Your constructive feedback provided through the poll helps AOPA identify the best of the best flight training providers—and that gives your flight instructor or flight school a chance to be nationally recognized in the AOPA Flight Training Excellence Awards.

Prizes donated for this year’s sweepstakes include: Your choice of a Sporty's Learn to Fly or Instrument Rating online course (two will be awarded); a $150 Aircraft Spruce gift card; the PilotWorkshops Real World VFR course online; or your choice of a Jeppesen Private Part 61 kit or Instrument/Commercial Part 61 kit.

Please share your experience. By participating, not only will you be able to recognize an outstanding provider of flight training services, but your feedback will serve the aviation community by helping other budding pilots become lifelong passionate aviators.
