The job fair will be 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott North. Companies that will be recruiting include Ameriflight, Empire Airlines, Endeavor Air, GoJet Airlines, Jet Linx, PSA Airlines, Republic Airways, SkyWest Airlines, Trans States Airlines, and others.

U.S. major airlines hired 324 pilots in September, yielding a year-to-date total of 3,142, the company said. The nine U.S. major airlines are on pace to hire more than 4,200 pilots in 2016.

The future pilot forum invites aspiring pilots of all ages and their families to attend a free educational day about pathways to professional pilot careers. Students are invited to attend with their parents; they also can register to view portions of the event on demand later. School counselors are encouraged to attend.

The future pilot forum will be 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Marriott North.
