New five-blade prop for King Air 350s
Raisbeck Engineering and Hartzell Propeller have teamed to produce a new, five-blade propeller that improves the performance of King Air 350s while reducing cabin noise.
Raisbeck officials say they expect an FAA supplemental type certificate "very soon," and the company already has orders from two separate firms.
Company officials said single-engine climb performance increases between five and seven percent with the new propellers.
The new props are expected to sell for about $140,000 per pair, Raisbeck officials said.
