The Oshkosh, Wisconsin, company that identifies its Sonex aircraft brand as “the sport aircraft reality check” announced offering a 10-percent discount through March 9 on all Sonex products and its AeroConversions line of powerplants, systems, and parts for use in recreational aviation.

In a news release, the company also highlighted a new website that is “a huge improvement with beautiful responsive, mobile-friendly design, easier navigation, and enhanced search capability.”

“Additionally, Sonex Aircraft plans to launch a new and improved Sonex Web Store and Sonex Builder Database later this year,” it said, noting that the announcements marked the beginning of a year-long anniversary celebration.

Sonex’s aircraft include the Sonex, Waiex, and Onex sport airplanes, Xenos sport motorglider, and the SubSonex Personal Jet, offered as kit packages that can be “purchased and completed with full technical support.”

Sonex also has diversified its offerings with Sonex Aerospace LLC, producing the Teros UAS for unmanned and optionally piloted civil and defense missions, and is developing other UAS airframes in conjunction with Navmar Applied Sciences Corp.
