Tour CalFire and Aerospace Museum of California

Fly in to the former McClellan Air Force Base, now McClellan Airfield, to tour CalFire, the Aerospace Museum of California, and the Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento hangars during a fun fly-out as part of the AOPA Fly-In at Livermore, California, in June.

Only 40 people will have the opportunity to take part in this exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of McClellan Business Air Park on June 21.

After landing, taxi to the CalFire/DynCorp facility to park and tour the largest full-service, all-risk fire department in the western United States. CalFire protects 31 million acres of land with the Grumman Aerospace S-2T Airtanker, Bell UH-1H Super Huey, and the North American-Rockwell OV-10A.

After touring CalFire, enjoy a boxed lunch at the Aerospace Museum of California and then stroll at your leisure through the museum to view more than 40 military and civilian aircraft as well as a world-class engine exhibit.

The last stop on the McClellan Business Air Park tour is the Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento. You’ll walk through the hangars where the guard operates the Alenia C-27J Spartan aircraft on medium-range patrol and search-and-rescue missions.

This exclusive access costs just $15 (for lunch). Slots are likely to fill up fast, so reserve your spot on the tour today!
