Move complete, Waco's a-building
Aug. 7 � Now that the move of your sweepstakes Waco UPF-7 project has been completed from Faribault, Minnesota, to Rare Aircraft's new facilities in Owatonna, Minnesota, work is progressing rapidly. Shown are Rare Aircraft shop supervisor Jeremy Redman, son of owner Roy Redman, and Rare Aircraft craftsman Doc Walker. Wing covering using Ceconite is in progress, and covering of the fuselage should occur by the end of the month. It is expected the aircraft will fly in September. Watch for it at AOPA Expo in Palm Springs, California, in late October.
