ASN volunteers needed in California
AOPA Airport Support Network (ASN) volunteers serve as AOPA's first line of defense by being the association's local eyes and ears to promote, protect, and defend America's community airports - but we need your help to succeed. Although the California Department of Transportation's aviation division has done an excellent job promoting the value of its airports, a growing number of airports in California are being threatened by development. Each month in AOPA Pilot, AOPA highlights the efforts of ASN volunteers whose dedication has ensured the future of their local airports. Whether your airport is facing a threat or not, now is the time to get involved. Visit AOPA Online to see which California airports need volunteers or to learn more about the ASN program.
