Officials of the Maderal County Sheriff’s Department say there has been no conclusion as yet on whether several bones found at the site of the Steve Fossett crash are human remains. Once the forensics expert has made a conclusion, the bones will be examined for DNA to positively identify them as those of Fossett. His aircraft was located recently  in the mountains of western California.
