Sennheiser, iFlightPlanner.com offer iPad app

Sennheiser and iFlightPlanner.com have joined forces to develop a new Apple iPad application for flight planning. The app was introduced during EAA AirVenture 2011.

The app allows pilots to download flights planned in iFlightPlanner.com’s Flight wizard and take them, via iPad, into the cockpit.

Once downloaded, pilots may view flight details including navigation logs, VFR and IFR charts, and approach plates while in flight, and without a data connection. iFlightPlanner for iPad also will feature news, information, and other communications provided by Sennheiser.

After landing, pilots will be able to electronically close their flight plans and log their flight details into their iFlightPlanner.com logbook.
