Partner up, Cub maker says
As airplane manufacturers look for customers, customers are searching for a way to make their airplane ownership dream come true. Both are often thwarted by the poor economy, but American Legend Aircraft thinks it has a solution through joint ownership.
The program promises that a Legend Cub can be purchased for $2,900 down and flown for $28 per hour. It is managed through the LetsFly Cooperative Ownership Program. You’ll end up with a one-quarter share of a Legend Cub and a monthly payment of $365 to $430, company officials claim.
The Legend Cub, built in Texas, is one of the top-selling light sport aircraft, and is a full-size lookalike to the famous Piper Cub.
