AOPA Fly-Ins have always been about pilots, pancakes, and presentations, and in the past six years, they’ve been a successful way for AOPA to connect with its members and the local community.
Since 2014, the regional fly-ins have grown into one of the association’s most successful efforts, drawing tens of thousands of people together for events hosted at the airports where members love to fly.
We were looking forward to seeing our many members and friends across the country this year but were forced to cancel most of our in-person events in response to the pandemic. We all desire to get back to meeting up at so many grand fly-ins—both large and small—produced by our many different friends in aviation.
So, what’s next? AOPA is looking carefully at a wide range of options on how we proceed into 2021. We are going to plan with as much flexibility as possible, so that we’ll be able to adapt quickly to whatever national conditions exist. In the meantime, we invite you to click on the location from a past AOPA Fly-In to relive the excitement and passion.
While we may not meet in-person in 2020, AOPA remains committed to its members and aviation! Whether you’re an aircraft owner, an experienced pilot, rusty pilot, new pilot, student pilot, or simply love flying, AOPA has something for you. You’ll find excellent resources to learn, experience, and explore all things aviation.
