Parking Information

Parking is available in the main Convention Center garage located at 408 South Almaden Blvd. or 350 South Market Street. The current rate is $1.00 per 20 minutes.  AOPA attendees receive a discounted rate of $12.00/day during the AOPA Expo.

Parking is also available at area hotels (prices vary) and public lots.

Arriving by Commercial Airlines

Arriving by General Aviation from Outside the United States
General Aviation arrivals from outside the U.S. must land at a Customs Airport of Entry.  Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) is the closest Customs Airport of Entry to the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.

Complimentary Shuttle Information

General Aviation Arrivals and Departures
Complimentary shuttle service will be provided to/from the San Jose McEnery Convention Center and the general aviation parking areas at both Mineta San Jose International Airport and Reid-Hillview Airport.

Aircraft Display Shuttle Service
Complimentary shuttle service will be provided to/from the San Jose McEnery Convention Center and the Aircraft Display located at Mineta San Jose International Airport.

Hotel Shuttles
The Radisson provides a complimentary airport shuttle to/from the San Jose International Airport, available 5:00 am – 10:00 pm. Guests at the Radisson may travel on the Valley Transit Authority Light Rail, using the Gish Street stop, which is 3 blocks away from the hotel. Light Rail hours of operation are 5:45 am to 12 midnight. Taxi service is also available from the Radisson.

All other hotels are within walking distance to the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.

Friday Night Party Hotel Shuttle
AOPA will be providing complimentary transportation to/from the Radisson and the to the Friday Night Party at The Tech Museum. All other hotels are within walking distance to the Tech Museum of Innovation.

Ground Transportation

Taxis are stationed at the Airport for on-demand service.  They are accessible from Terminal A and Terminal C.  The estimated fare from the Airport to the Convention Center or downtown hotels is $20.00

In addition to the on demand service available at each terminal, taxis are available on a prearranged basis. Please contact the company of your choice to schedule reservations.

Rental Car Information

Rental Car Shuttle, SJC-Commercial Flights - Each terminal has a clearly marked Rental Car Shuttle bus stop. Rental Car Shuttles provide regular transportation for customers to and from the terminals and the Rental Car Center. Daily hours of operation are 4:00am to 12:30am. Additional service is provided after hours for delayed arrivals. Should you arrive after hours and find no service, please call (408) 277-3661.

Rental Cars-General Aviation Arrivals - The FBO’s at Mineta San Jose International (SJC) and Reid-Hillview (RHV) can make rental car arrangements.  Hertz, Avis, and Alamo offer discounts to AOPA members.
