Aspen Avionics celebrated by giving away its 1,000th unit Saturday at AOPA Expo. AOPA President Phil Boyer chose the card of the winner, May Novak, from hundreds of AOPA members who entered to win the drawing.
Jet Alliance bullish on VLJs
California-based Jet Alliance Inc. is looking forward to growing its shared ownership and charter over the next two years. "This is the day of the VLJ," Jet Alliance chairman Randall Sanada said at a Nov. 7 news conference at AOPA Expo. "The media have been suggesting that the very light jet era has come and gone, but if ever there was a time when fuel economy and time efficiency were severely needed, this is it."
