AOPA Internet Flight Planner (AIFP) enables pilots to spend less time on the ground and more time in the air. Become a member of AOPA, and as part of your modest annual membership dues, you will receive unlimited use of AIFP to plan routes, view real-time weather maps, obtain FAA-certified weather briefings, check for temporary flight restrictions, and quickly file flight plans. AIFP features a route planner that computes distance, time, and fuel usage based on cruising speed and type of aircraft. Also, thanks to integration with the AOPA Airport Directory, another highly-valued AOPA member resource, pilots using AIFP have easy access to information on airports and nearby businesses including terminal procedures, fuel prices, aircraft services, vehicle rentals, hotels and more.

AIFP requires no downloads. It is Internet-based, and will work on Macs as well as PCs and Linux-based systems, and it can be accessed from any computer, anywhere in the world with Internet access.
