Each service provides 10 hours of usage per month, with additional usage billed at an hourly rate. If you need more than 10 hours per month on either product, you'll be billed just $1.95/hour for up to 50 hours. After that, you'll be billed $3.49/hour.
Each billing cycle is one month long, starting on the day you sign up. At signup, your credit card is initially billed for your first 10 hours. At the end of each billing period, you will be billed for any usage above 10 hours in the previous period, plus the first 10 hours of the next billing cycle.
Session times are measured in one-minute increments, with a minimum charge of 10 minutes per session. In other words, for a session that lasts a few minutes, you are charged for 10 minutes, but for sessions over 10 minutes, you are charged only for the exact minutes used. You can login to the online administration system to view your usage statistics, check your online billing status, view and print invoices, modify contact information, and cancel your subscription.

Once you enter the necessary information, you'll be instructed on how to download the software for either the AOPA Flight Explorer Pilot Edition or AOPA Flight Explorer Personal Edition. It's that simple.
Or if you prefer, feel free to demo the products before you sign up. You'll be able to look at the full flight tracking capability using simulated data. Then when you are ready to signup, you'll start receiving the near real-time data.
