Accident forgiveness

AOPA Member Products The AOPA Insurance Agency, AIG Aviation, Inc., and AOPA have joined the AOPA Air Safety Foundation initiative aimed at improving pilot safety consciousness while helping to lower a pilot's out-of-pocket expenses in the event of an accident. Through this collaboration, AIG Aviation has developed an accident forgiveness and deductible reward program to support its client pilots' participation in the AOPA Air Safety Foundation program.

Available on select insurance policies underwritten by AIG Aviation, this valuable coverage enhancement waives up to $100 of the policy's deductible and — even better — prevents the policy renewal rate from increasing as a result of the accident.

Simply participate in a qualifying AOPA Air Safety Foundation safety education course every six months to qualify for the AOPA Accident Forgiveness and Deductible Waiver Enhancement.
