AOPA operates a state-of-the-art, multiple-server computer center, based on Digital Unix servers running Oracle relational databases.

A wide area network links the Frederick office to offices in Oklahoma City and Washington, D.C.

The system houses and maintains data on more than 15,000 airports and 8,500 FBOs for AOPA's Airport Directory.

The department also provides systems and support for AOPA Online.
