Membership Options

AOPA has several options to help reduce the cost of your membership.

  • Automatic Annual Renewal. Save $4 off your initial year's dues by signing up for the Automatic Annual Renewal Program. We'll automatically renew your membership and services each year, unless you notify us otherwise, and charge it to your credit card. And you can save $2 in following years by using an AOPA MasterCard or Visa to enroll. Plus, when you enroll, you'll get two extra entries into our annual sweepstakes.

  • Member-Get-A-Member. Spread the word about AOPA to all your flying friends, relatives, or colleagues. When you help us add members, you make AOPA stronger. And when you sponsor at least three new AOPA members who identify you as their sponsor, you'll receive your next year of membership FREE.

  • Family Membership. For a reduced annual fee, each pilot in your immediate family can enjoy the benefits of AOPA membership. Each will receive individual credentials and all the regular annual membership benefits, for as long as your primary membership remains in effect. You'll receive one subscription to AOPA Pilot and one copy of AOPA's Airport Directory per household. Call 800/USA-AOPA for more details.

  • Gift Membership. An AOPA Gift Membership is a great way to congratulate someone on their first solo flight or latest check ride. You can also help celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or holiday.

  • AOPA Life Member Program. AOPA Life Membership is offered exclusively through the AOPA Air Safety Foundation, a charitable, nonprofit educational organization committed to pilot safety. Your $2,500 gift entitles you to AOPA Life Membership, a $2,000 tax-deduction, certificate, member card and lapel pin.
