Long Way to Long Beach

The first airplane to take off for AOPA Aviation Summit in Long Beach, Calif., is a Waco YMF-D like the one in the AOPA Foundation’s “A Night for Flight” auction, to conclude Nov. 13 on the RMS Queen Mary. Follow the rumbling, open-cockpit biplane as it makes its way across the continent from AOPA’s Maryland headquarters all the way to the Pacific.
