AOPA Life Membership: A commitment to GA safety

L. Michael Robins decided to become an AOPA Life Member in October of 2005 because he wanted to continue supporting AOPA and the AOPA Air Safety Foundation’s efforts to help general aviation pilots fly safely.

“Becoming a Life Member was my way of showing commitment for continuing the outstanding efforts of AOPA and the foundation,” said Robins, adding that he has greater confidence in his ability to fly safely because he uses the foundation’s educational tools, like online safety courses and accident reports.

You can become an AOPA Life Member and support the work of the AOPA Air Safety Foundation by making a one-time donation of $2,500, 80 percent of which is tax deductible. In addition to lifelong membership in AOPA, you will receive numerous benefits including a special pin, membership card, and framed certificate hand signed by AOPA President Phil Boyer and AOPA Air Safety Foundation Executive Director Bruce Landsberg. AOPA Life Members are also recognized in the AOPA Air Safety Foundation’s annual Safety and Philanthropy Report.
