AOPA Life Membership: A commitment to GA safety

L. Michael Robins decided to become an AOPA Life Member in October 2005 because he wanted to continue supporting AOPA and the AOPA Air Safety Foundation’s efforts to help general aviation pilots fly safely.

Robins said that he has greater confidence in his ability to fly safely because he uses the foundation’s educational tools, like online safety courses and accident reports.

You can become an AOPA Life Member by making a one-time donation of $2,500, 80 percent of which is tax deductible.

In addition to lifelong membership in AOPA, you will receive numerous benefits, including a special pin, membership card, and framed certificate signed by AOPA President Phil Boyer and AOPA Air Safety Foundation Executive Director Bruce Landsberg. AOPA Life Members are also recognized in the AOPA Air Safety Foundation’s annual Safety and Philanthropy Report.
