Keep your beneficiaries current.
Are you one of the more than 26,000 members who have had the foresight to purchase AD&D insurance to protect your family in the event of your death in an aircraft accident? If so, good for you. But when was the last time you updated your beneficiary information?
Uh, oh. Sometimes, members purchase generous policies and never name a beneficiary or they forget to update their beneficiary when they marry or have children or when they divorce (this can be particularly awkward). To avoid such confusion and ensure that you’ve taken proper care of your loved ones, make sure your beneficiary information is correct.
When you’re ready, just download the “Change of Beneficiary” form and mail it the address at the top of the form. If you don’t know how to list your beneficiaries correctly, call 800-872-2672 for assistance.
