AOPA Expo—Less than 2 weeks away!
The 2008 AOPA Expo in San Jose, California, promises to be the biggest show floor ever! So if you’re looking for the latest and greatest in aviation-related products and services, Expo is your destination. Please register early—special events have sold out in past years! You may still register online for these tickets and daily Seminar and Exhibit passes.
Expand your aviation knowledge with over 60 hours of educational seminars. Enjoy the humor of Rod Machado, learn about the state of the Light Sport Aircraft industry, and test your awareness with safety seminars put on by the AOPA Air Safety Foundation.
Get up close and personal with 80 aircraft at nearby Mineta San Jose International Airport. Complimentary transportation will be provided, courtesy of AOPA Platinum Sponsor, Cessna, during display hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Learn the latest news each morning from Phil Boyer and other industry experts. All General Sessions are free and open to the public.
And the fun doesn’t stop at sundown! Network and share your passion for aviation with fellow pilots at the evening events. Join us on Thursday for the Welcome Reception from 6 to 7 p.m. in the San Jose Marriott. Enjoy great food and entertainment at the Friday Night Party to be held at The Tech Museum of Innovation—you won’t want to miss the IMAX aviation film, The Magic of Flight, where you will experience the thrill of flying and soaring through the history of flight. The Closing Banquet on Saturday offers dinner and entertainment, and AOPA will honor the government official and individual in the aviation community who did the most to defend and preserve general aviation during the year.
