New update for AOPA Airports app
An update for AOPA Airports, powered by ForeFlight, is now available for download on iTunes. The update includes fixes for bugs identified by AOPA members, including improved re-ordering and editing of favorite airports on the “Favorites” tab, dramatically improved iTunes backup time, a more complete list of airports, a “download all” button, and improved support for downloading on slower cellular connections like EDGE.
Since its official launch on May 17, the members-only application has been downloaded more than 20,000 times. The weekend following its launch, AOPA Airports reached the No. 3 spot on Apple’s “Top free apps” rankings in the navigation apps category.
"We are excited to see that so many members have downloaded and are raving about the new AOPA Airports app," said Jason Miller of Foreflight in an interview following the release.

ForeFlight also simultaneously released version 2.3.2 of its flagship product, ForeFlight Mobile for iPhone and iPod touch. The new version includes compatibility with version 3.0 of the iPhone OS and improved support for downloading on slower cellular connections as well.
