Get the most from your AOPA WorldPoints credit card
If you already have an AOPA WorldPoints credit card from Bank of America, you know you’re automatically earning points for every dollar you spend, double points for most aviation purchases. But are you getting the most from your card?
Using your card for routine purchases can help maximize your rewards—think of all the money you spend on groceries, gasoline, even utility bills each month. Why not be rewarded for the money you spend anyway?
And be sure to put all your aviation purchases on your AOPA card because you’ll earn double points for purchases at more than 4,600 FBOs and select aviation retailers. Don’t forget to use your card when you renew your AOPA membership, buy tickets to AOPA Aviation Summit, or sign up for the AOPA Legal Services Plan—all transactions that will earn you double points.
With no limit on the points you can collect and rewards beginning at only 2,500 points, it won’t take long for you to earn the rewards you want, whether that means travel, adventures, event tickets, merchandise, or cash.
But points aren’t the only reward for carrying and using the AOPA WorldPoints card. You also get free MyConcierge service that provides you with customized VIP services, like personal shopping or dining reservations.
And there’s another reward—the knowledge that every dollar you spend helps keep general aviation strong. That’s because a percentage of your spending comes back to AOPA at no cost to you. The revenue generated in this way has enabled AOPA to keep dues at $39 a year for the past 19 years. And it provides much of the money your association uses to fight for GA on Capitol Hill, in statehouses, and at individual airports nationwide.
