Bold, new look for ‘ePilot’
Every Friday, ePilot brings you the news you need to know to be a better, safer pilot. To deliver you the news more effectively, we’ve created a fresh, contemporary design for the newsletter. You’ll receive the new ePilot on June 4, but you can check out this preview edition now!
Some enhancements come from reader suggestions. You asked for larger type; we increased the font size to make the newsletter easier to read. You asked for flying destinations; we included a calendar of aviation events near your home airport.
In addition to these upgrades, we’re keeping all of your favorite features—created by pilots, for pilots.

We’ve added a new “My Membership” section, where you can read the latest Quiz Me Q&A members have asked our experts in the Pilot Information Center. We’ve tapped in to AOPA’s wealth of aviation tools to bring you current TFRs, weather, and AOPA Airports (Have you identified your home airport?). One quick look and you’ll have a complete summary of your membership, including expiration date, the latest in money-saving offers from AOPA and its partners, and more. And don’t forget to update your ePilot subject preferences so we can make sure to deliver the news that’s most relevant to you.
Our new layout can also accommodate a variety of options for advertisers, which helps offset the costs of producing ePilot and provides opportunities for you to see some of the latest products and services on the market.
For readers using dial-up or mobile devices, AOPA will continue to offer its text-only version of ePilot.
