‘AOPA Pilot,’ ‘Flight Training’ digital mags gain popularity
See what 6,500 AOPA members are enjoying each month when they open the digital edition of AOPA Pilot and Flight Training magazines: Videos come to life right on the page, interactive polls allow subscribers to share their opinion, and Microsoft Flight Simulator re-creations demonstrate maneuvers!
AOPA launched the digital products with the February issue of AOPA Pilot and March issue of Flight Training, which are open to the public as a demonstration of the features available in the new format.
An iPad app is in development to make viewing the magazines—and the interactive content—on the device easier.
Members who haven’t seen the digital editions yet can get a demonstration at the AOPA tent at Sun ’n Fun in Lakeland, Fla., March 29 through April 3. It’ll also provide the perfect opportunity for one-on-one support from AOPA staff who can answer your questions about the digital editions and even help you update your subscription preferences. Members can switch their print subscription to the digital version for free or add the digital edition for $10. For more details, see the AOPA digital editions page.
