New membership option, AOPA Plus, offers enhanced benefits
With nearly 400,000 members across the country, it's easy to understand that AOPA has outgrown its "one size fits all" approach to membership. In response, the association is developing additional membership options, and is excited to introduce the first of these, AOPA Plus.
Plus bridges the gap between the benefits of regular membership and the additional services members have asked AOPA to offer.
AOPA Plus members receive a unique AOPA membership card and formal certificate suitable for framing—as well as a variety of enhanced benefits such as a dedicated telephone line to the AOPA Pilot Information Center, invitations to select regional events, advance screenings of Air Safety Institute courses, invitations to Webinars, and 10 percent off the AOPA Legal Services Plan or Medical Services Program. Additionally, more AOPA Plus benefits may be added over time. The cost of AOPA Plus is $99 per year and current members who wish to upgrade may do so at any time during their membership year.
Future membership options will be introduced later this year, with new types in development for 2012. Regardless of the option you choose—regular membership, or any of the new options—you'll continue to receive the same great benefits you've come to expect from AOPA.
