Announcing a New, Free Benefit for AOPA members
Save money through the AOPA Lifestyles Member Discount Program
Just by being an AOPA member, you are now part of a powerful buying club where you’ll get automatic discounts at a wide range of companies. The good news is that you don’t have to do anything out of the ordinary to earn these discounts—and the even better news is that it’s all free.
Drum roll, please: Introducing the AOPA Lifestyles Member Discount Program!
“As we continue to roll out this new membership benefit, our goal is to make AOPA membership even more valuable by expanding the program with dozens of useful, high-value discounts that make flying more affordable," said AOPA Vice President of Planning, Products, and Corporate Partnerships Ed Thompson. "We're committed to helping our members save money, offsetting the cost of AOPA membership and providing even more savings that will help them fly more often.”
No haggling, no searching for discount codes. AOPA has already negotiated discounts on your behalf with both aviation and nonaviation companies. Again, to benefit from these discounts, all you have to do is be an AOPA member.
Current offers include a $10 gift card from Aircraft Spruce, exclusive savings on a Mission Flight Gear Bag from Sporty’s Pilot Shop, a free Learning Guide from American Flyers ($39 value) to help pass a knowledge or flight test, and $10 off your first purchase of$100 or more at PilotMall. Members also can receive discounts and special offers from car rental companies Alamo, Avis, Enterprise, and Hertz; a free two-week trial and discounted six-month subscription of PilotEdge virtual ATC services; $15 toward Haveproof.com content delivery certification services; and a special rate for Frontier Secure Internet security services. Additional valuable offers include 15 percent off an annual subscription to WingX Pro7 Synthetic Vision and special savings on Spidertracks units and data services. The list of participating companies is anticipated to grow in the coming months.
“We’re actively negotiating with dozens of other companies,” added Thompson. “We’re excited about this program and how these discounts will directly benefit our members.” New partners will be announced as they come on board, so stand by for more news about this exciting new member benefit.
