Tornado Husky returns to where it all began
At Sun ‘n Fun 2011, the brand-new Aviat Husky A-1C N40WY tore loose from its tiedowns and sustained damage when a tornado ripped through the show grounds. This year, the Husky returns in mint condition as AOPA’s 2012 Tougher than a Tornado Sweepstakes aircraft.
Visitors can stop by the AOPA Tent to learn about the aircraft’s history and how they might become its new owner in October. This rough-and-ready aircraft is back on the flight line for adventure. While at the AOPA Tent, stop inside to renew your membership, learn about new member benefits, test your aviation knowledge, win prizes, talk with aviation experts one on one, and enter the daily drawing to receive a free AOPA hat.

Visit the AOPA Learn to Fly Center inside the AOPA Tent to get information on learning to fly, including how AOPA programs can help students accomplish their flight training goals. There is something for everyone at the AOPA Tent, so be sure to stop by and see it for yourself.
The AOPA Tent is located west of Hangar A outside of the PilotMall Hangar. AOPA members receive a $5 discount on admission all days of the show. Bring your membership card to the admission gates to redeem.
