Tru Flight offers approach overlay on handheld GPS
Tru Flight now offers instrument approach overlays with altitudes on Garmin handheld GPS units. The capability comes from a piece of desktop software that has the user select the approach and then load it on the GPS. A paper approach plate also prints out. The service is $149 a year.
