Battery back-up for experimentals
Owners of Experimental aircraft who are looking to install an integrated battery back-up system can now check out TCW Technologies. The company is offering a self-contained battery supply for aircraft electronics. According to TCW Technologies, the system is maintained on an automatic charge, and will provide an hour of power to a GPS or EFIS automatically in the case of electrical failure. Shipments begin in February, and the system costs $375.
