Jeppesen course materials now on iPad
Jeppesen recently announced that its entire library of pilot training textbooks is available electronically on the iPad, including the private, combined instrument and commercial, multiengine, and flight instructor manuals.
Although the first issue is essentially an electrical representation of the printed book, the company said in a news release that it hopes to offer additional functionality over time, including video and other enhanced content.
Support for additional devices is also being considered, a representative said.
Prices for each manual vary, but all are in line with the printed versions. Check Apple’s iTunes store and search “Jeppesen” to learn more.
