Craig Fuller Statement on the Passing of GA News Publisher Emeritus Dave Sclair
“General aviation lost a true friend and great advocate Tuesday night with the passing of Dave Sclair. Our thoughts are with his wife Mary Lou and the rest of his family.“Dave was the founder and publisher emeritus of General Aviation News, and an avid proponent of residential airpark living. He embodied so much of what's best about the general aviation community. He was passionate about flying, and shared that passion with everyone he met.
Though Dave will be sorely missed, all of us at AOPA are thankful for his life and his passion for GA.”
