Frederick, MD – Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) President Craig Fuller will be in Lakeland, Fla., for a series of events June 9-10, 2012 in conjunction with Sun ‘N Fun and the Recreational Aviation Foundation (RAF).

On Saturday, June 9, Fuller will join RAF’s Tim Clifford and Sun ‘N Fun President John “Lites” Leenhouts at the Recreational Aviation Foundation’s Fire Hub in the Sun ‘N Fun campgrounds from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for an informal chat with pilots.

On Sunday, June 10, AOPA is sponsoring a free pancake breakfast for members from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Sun ‘N Fun Fly-In Grounds.  An RSVP is required for entry, so email events@aopa.org for a seat; include “SNF” in the subject line.

Immediately following, Fuller will host a pilot town hall meeting where he will share his perspective on the current state of general aviation and the importance of the 2012 elections. He will also bring attendees up to date on AOPA's efforts to protect the freedom to fly.
