The CJ4 was announced in 2006, and first deliveries are expected in 2010. The airplane is projected to have a max cruise speed of 435 knots, moderately swept wings, Pro Line 21 panels, and FADEC-controlled Williams International FJ44-4A engines of 3,400 lbst. Ranges are projected to be around 1,800 nm. Full-fuel payload is estimated at 1,000 lb. Seven to eight passengers can be accommodated in the cabin, which includes home-theater amenities. Takeoff, fuel, and other weights have yet to be determined, but Cessna says that it’s aiming for a 2,100-lb maximum payload.
