S-40 Freedom

The S-40 is a larger variant of the Spectrum’s Independence S-33, with seven to 10 seats and a max takeoff weight of 9,550 lb. The S-40 uses two GE Honda Aero HF 120 engines of 2,095 lbst apiece. A 440-knot cruise is promised, along with a max range of 2,250 lb. Certification is expected in 2009.
