(Under certification)
This large nine-seater is among the largest of the single-pilot jets, having a 13,889-lb max takeoff weight. The SPn will come with the newly reintroduced, four-tube Honeywell Apex avionics suite and posts an advertised max cruise speed of 415 knots. Max range is 1,800 nm. This German-built, composite-construction airplane is unique in that it will be certified for use on grass or gravel runways. However, Grob has recently declared bankruptcy, and plans for the SPn’s certification are currently on hold.
