“Rally GA!” is rapidly becoming the battle cry of the aviation community. Pilots are coming together, they’re collaborating, and they’re coming up with new ideas on how to strengthen and preserve general aviation for future generations.
These are exciting times for the aviation community, and this year at AOPA Aviation Summit the association hopes to build on that excitement.
A variety of speakers including FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt, EAA President Rod Hightower, and the AOPA leadership team will all be on hand each day to deliver keynotes and discuss a variety of topics, from growing the pilot population to NextGen and user fees.
Join AOPA for the U.S. Congress General Aviation Summit on Saturday in the Learning Pavilion, as AOPA President Craig Fuller and members of Congress including Rep. Sam Graves, Rep. Jerry Costello, and Sen. Mark Begich take part in an interactive session to discuss critical aviation issues before Congress.
On Friday, AOPA hopes you come out to Airportfest for the Rock ‘n Rally to experience aviation in a whole new light—twilight! With unique aircraft and balloons aglow, it will provide the perfect backdrop to meet and mingle with fellow pilots. Live entertainment will be provided by Connecticut's own "Out of Touch." This group's “Best of Rock and Soul” motto is prepared to keep everyone rocking and rallying all evening. With music and activities for the entire group to enjoy, this event shouldn’t be missed.
Come to Summit, connect with your fellow pilots, and help Rally GA!
