AOPA Seminars at SUN 'n FUN

Seminars are being presented by AOPA Air Safety Institute, AOPA Insurance Services, and others during the week of the Fly-In. Seminars will take place at the Central Florida Aerospace Acedmy and the FAA Production Studios. For a full schedule of events click here.

AOPA and SUN ’n FUN Member Appreciation Breakfast

AOPA and SUN ’n FUN are hosting a member appreciation breakfast, FREE to AOPA members, March 28 at the SUN ’n FUN Activities Tent No. 2. Connect with other pilots at the event, which takes place from 8:00 to 9:00 AM. AOPA President, Craig Fuller, will make remarks at 8:30 AM.

Recreational Aviation Foundation Fire Hub Dedication Ceremony

AOPA will join the Recreational Aviation Foundation at their Fire Hub Dedication Ceremony on Tuesday, March 27. The RAF Fire Hubs are sponsored to support the organization’s conservation and advocacy efforts. The first Fire Hub, located at the campgrounds (west of the Corn Roast Stage) on the SUN ‘n FUN Fly-in Grounds, is sponsored by AOPA. AOPA Members are invited to stop by on Tuesday evening (5:30 to 6:30 p.m.) to be a part of this special event.

Visit the AOPA tent and purchase official AOPA gear! Select pieces from the AOPA Collection by Sporty's will be available at the tent throughout the week for purchase by AOPA members. Also, check out a line of "Future Pilot" merchandise just for kids! ‘Town Hall Meeting’ Returns to SUN ’n FUN

Congressman Sam Graves (R-Mo.) will orchestrate a discussion among leaders within the aviation industry, including AOPA President Craig Fuller, about the current state of affairs and the future of general aviation in the United States on Saturday, March 31st, at 9:30 PM, in the FAA National Resource Center and Production Studios, which are located in the heart of the SUN ’n FUN campus. If you can’t make the meeting in person, you can watch it here.
