Member of House aviation subcommittee offers praise for AOPA efforts

AOPA President Phil Boyer received a pleasant surprise this morning when an unsolicited letter of thanks and support arrived by fax from Rep. Leonard Boswell (D-Iowa), an AOPA member (AOPA 1267161) and respected member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

"I wish to take this opportunity to thank you," said Boswell in his letter. "What you do is so important to all Americans."

"As a member of the aviation subcommittee, Rep. Boswell has been a good and powerful friend of general aviation," said Boyer. "I can't tell you how much AOPA appreciates his show of support and looks forward to continuing our work with him."
