FAA consolidates Palm Springs Tracon

After working with pilots, air traffic controllers, and California's congressional delegation, the FAA has consolidated the Palm Springs Tracon into Southern California Tracon. This came after AOPA had asked for and was granted a public meeting on the matter. The FAA has been working directly with controllers to ensure adequate on-the-job training and is in the process of addressing staffing needs at the tracon.
