California land-use bill faces hearing

After years of working with the California Transportation Commission and other aviation supporters to strengthen the state’s airport land-use laws, AOPA is throwing its support behind a bill that will do just that. S.B.1118, sponsored by California Sen. Gloria Negrete McLeod (D-Chino), faces a hearing March 5 before the Senate Local Government Committee, and AOPA wants members’ help to get the bill passed.
