FAA orders Santa Monica to stop jet ban

The FAA has issued a cease and desist order to the city of Santa Monica after the city tried to enforce an ordinance banning Category C and D jets from Santa Monica Municipal Airport. The order is the latest move in an increasingly contentious fight over access to the publicly funded airport. Read more on AOPA Online.
